And I shouldn't.
There's a lot of different ways to get your message out on the internet.
Some people use only audio, some use video, some use just text and pictures.
I think if you really want to reach out to all possible audiences, you should try to do all three.
As far as myself, I already put a lot of time in to video, a little time in to text (this blog) and barely anything in just solely audio. But I feel like if you do video you really don't have to worry about audio that much. So I guess here are your possible combos.
Audio and Text
Video and Text
No matter what you do, you should have a text version of what you do/say. Now you don't need to write out a script of everything you record, but you should type out the general idea you are trying to convey and go ahead and tag the video/audio in the post.
Sometimes people just don't have time or can't listen to audio or video at a given time. They may not have headphones in a quiet place, they may not have the write plugins on a public computer, or they can only access the video/audio through their own personal computer.
Anyways, it's still a good idea to blog and review your audio and video content within your blog. I know this isn't a formal lesson or anything, but I think it's some pretty good advice in general.
Let me know what you think below or comment wherever I post this!
And yes I know, I need to work on the "keeping up with the text" part. haha
