And that's a wrap! (Yeah, I went there)

And I hope you chuckled that the use of the word "wrap" and the connection with wrapping presents. If not, maybe next time.

So have you finished your Christmas shopping, or have you yet to start?
As for me, I started and I finished on Monday. I don't like going out multiple times and like to get my shopping done in one trip. Once again, I have successfully completed this task, but it was only until this afternoon that I got around to wrapping the gifts.

I don't know you about you, but I just couldn't get myself to start wrapping them. Maybe it's because I botch every gift that I wrap and it looks like a gift blob rather than a gift box...oh well.

After I got on a roll though, I didn't stop until they were all wrapped. I guess that's how I like doing things, all in one session. Same thing applies to me when I'm out at school. I can't sit down, write a piece of paper, then come back a day later and do another piece, get up, and finish it a few days later. I just can't function like that. I need to sit down and take it all on in one session (maybe two if it is a long paper).  But enough of that school work rant, that's over and it's Christmas break.

So how are you doing on your shopping/wrapping gifts? Hopefully you aren't going to wait until Christmas Eve. That's just asking for stress. haha.

If you want to try to get another gift for either you or a family member or friend, enter my iTunes Gift Card Giveaway below! I am giving away a $15 iTunes Gift Card to one random lucky winner. Everyone has an equal chance so I suggest you enter! As long as you have iTunes, this can be use to you! From apps to music, you can't go wrong by entering this giveaway! Plus, it helps me and my YouTube Channel out! (And you know you want to do that! haha). The giveaway ends on December 26th and it's easy to enter. Just watch the video below!
So I'm assuming you entered the giveaway, because you are awesome like that. haha. Thanks!

I'm sure I will manage to write another post sometime before Christmas, but until then, happy wrapping! (or buying if you haven't done that yet [in that case, get to work])

All synced up....almost.

Huzzah for me. I have successfully synced and connected my TGameNTech YouTube Channel and my Blogger account. Before, I had them on two different accounts but now I have admin privileges on both accounts for my blogs. I know this might not interest many of you, but I figured maybe someone found it interesting.

This really doesn't mean anything different for you readers, but it just makes embedding videos easier and I won't have to log in and log out or use different browsers for my different accounts. That was really starting to get old...haha.

Also, if you haven't checked out my faceobok page I made for TGameNTech, check it out here and like it please!
TGameNTech Facebook Page

Well, back to the video grind. Unfortunately, the internet upload speed is slow here at home and my computer doesn't have a very fast processor so editing, rendering, and uploading videos takes a long time....ugh. I will need to make some updates in the future. haha.

Well, thats about it for now. See you all later. [Don't forget to check out the page and keep watching my videos! :)]

Christmas Break has started!

Thanks goodness. And true to my word, I already have a new video up on my Channel. Check it out below.
Even if you don't have an iPad, it still helps me out if you watch. :)
(imbedded video coming later, for some reason it isn't working now)

So like I said before, Christmas break has officially started, and when I woke up it was actually snowing!
How fitting.
Well, it's not snowing anymore and it didn't lay so you wouldn't even know if it snowed if you slept in until around noon, which no one should be doing. (You lazy bums).

So what do you all plan to do for Christmas Break? Feel free to comment below and let me know. (You don't have to be registered to comment, but if you do, please leave your name so I know who commented! haha [you really don't have to put your name if you REALLY don't want to])

Stay tuned for more updates! I'm sure I will be talking about my YouTube Channel more and all that grand stuff.

Have a good beginning of your break!

Christmas Break=More YouTube Videos

Yes, indeed it does. (for me anyways)
I have two more finals today, then I am outta here and back home for a whopping 3 weeks! (4 would have been nice...haha)

But while I'm at home, I plan to really crank out videos for my YT channel, TGameNTech. Hopefully you guys watch them and like them, subscribe, comment, and what not. Every little view and like helps me out and I'm sure you won't find the videos TOO boring even if you aren't a tech loving person. haha.

This post really isn't that interesting, but more of just an update as to what I will be doing most of my Christmas break, apart from the usual family time and Christmas celebrations of course!

Well I hope you all survived finals and make it back home safe and sound. I'm off to go study for a bit and keep packing. Hope to see you all on my YouTube channel!

Reading Day?

Does anyone honestly solely read on reading day? I doubt it, and if you do, kudos to you.
I'm not sure about other schools, but Geneva College gives us this nice little day off before finals and calls it "Reading Day." I'm guessing we are supposed to read or something but most of the time it is just time spent sitting around doing nothing. Occasionally some work is done, but I don't sit here and read the whole day. haha.

That being said though, I do enjoy having this day off before finals start up. Gives us a chance to just chill out and relax and prepare ourselves for the last push of the semester.

What are you doing this reading day? Sitting around having a movie marathon? Reading until your mind explodes? Doin work so you aren't swamped when finals actually start? Or are you just sitting here staring at Facebook for 16 hours?

Whatever the case, don't listen to Scumbag Brain. He doesn't give good advice around finals week...

Also, I have been updating my YouTube Channel. Here is my latest game review!

Thanks for reading this post on Reading Day, how appropriate!!!

Almost there....

We are almost here...almost to the end of the semester. For some, the semester is already over. For others, finals week is quickly approaching. It's hard to believe that I have only one more semester until I graduate. Oh boy. Haha.

I hope this finds you all relatively sane and I hope you took my last blog post into consideration (the one about taking a break from work). If you don't take a break from work, I can assure you that you will go crazy. Learn to live a little. Haha.

As for me, I've had my fair share of busyness this semester. I have 21 credits and more classes and assignments than I can count. Now I know as a communications major some of you may say "oh you don't do anything hard blah blah blah"
Well let me tell you, I have had some hard stuff to do this semester and a lot to do. So if you are pullin like 13 credits, don't be tryin to tell me how bad you got it when me and plenty of other people are pullin 20+. And if I can find time to relax and breath, I'm sure you can too.

People take this college thing too seriously. It's not like it's life or death.....just pass or fail. Haha.

Oh yeah, maybe during your break you can check out my YouTube channel. That'd be sweeet.
www.youtube.com/user/TGameNTech

Well, I better get back to doing something else rather than this.

Stay sane,
Tyler

Work, Work, and Work.

That's about all I have been doing since I got off break. I thought I would update this more on break, but Skyward Sword took away all my free time....but it was worth it. Such a great game. Still haven't finished it, but that's a conversation for another time.

So who here is busy with finals week right around the corner?  *hands shoot up across America*
Yeah I figured. Join the club!

I have one little word of advice to give to you, so you don't lose your mind.

It's just school.

Yeah, I said it. It's just school. It's not your life. It's not what you were created for. It's not your identity. And if it is...hmm...better rethink life a little bite.

If you are feeling a little stressed out from work, take a break. Watch Dirty Jobs or just stare at the ceiling. Everyone needs a break now and then. And right now is a perfect example. I have been doing homework all day but throughout the day I have taken breaks, and right now just happens to be one of those breaks.
It's really not that hard to take a break. All you need to do is just walk away from what you are doing.

This may come easier to some than it does others, but like all skills, it takes time.

Do me a favor, don't go crazy this week.

Break? Yes please.

Yes, it is finally upon us (almost [and for Geneva College students at least])
The long sought after Thanksgiving Break!

Oh yes, I can taste the gravy now. But is the meal the only thing we are truly looking forward to? Of course not!
There's sitting around, watching football, eating more food on top of the food we already ate, and more sitting around!
If it wouldn't be for Thanksgiving Break, I think many college students would go nuts. It's almost crazy how much relief and relaxation that the 5 day break gives.
What are your plans for break? Or are you already on break? You plan to eat more food than you should? (I know I will).
Well I'm sure you will hear more from me while I'm on break, since I will have all the time in the world....hopefully. haha

Well while you are sitting around waiting for break to come, maybe you should check out my YouTube Channel once again!
TGameNTech
My free iOS app giveaway is still open also! Only 6 more subscribers until the giveaway is over!

Thanks for reading this rant, even if it was all over the place. It's just more evidence as to why break needs to be here now. haha

Veteran's Day

Today is a day to thank and remember all who have served our country and are currently serving it now. We would not have the freedom we have today if it wasn't for those who have fought for this country. Remember, freedom isn't free. It costs a price. Many men have died for this country and I am forever thankful for that. Without them fighting for this country, we may not have the freedoms that we so often take for granted.

Freedom of speech.
Freedom of religion.
Freedom of the press.
Freedom of assembly.
Freedom of petition.

The list of freedoms and rights goes on. But it is only possible to have these freedoms because of those who have sacrificed their time, energy, and sometimes their lives.

"America is founded on the principle of freedom, justice, and liberty for all. Our nation's soldiers serve every day to protect our country and its ideals. On Veteran's Day, take a sacred moment to remember those who sacrifice their lives every moment to achieve peace and democracy."

May God Bless America and all of those who have served and are currenlty serving.

MAN LUNCH! The History of Testosterone...and Lunch.

Welcome all, and in this post, I'm going to post a little history of MAN LUNCH!

When did Man Lunch start you say?
Freshman Year, Spring Semester. Four guys. Tyler Schoenberger, Nate Mansor, Chuck Walters, and Myself.
We decided that we should take at least one day out of the week (it was two days for a few weeks) and dedicate it to being a MAN. We realized we just need a meal to sit down and be men with each other.

Now does this involve being vulgar, sick, and rude? No, it doesn't. We are very respectful. We don't make fun of other people, and we always clean up after ourselves and put tables back when we are done eating. But enough of that, let's take a look at some more history of Man Lunch.

At first, Man Lunch really wasn't the Man Lunch we know and love today. It was just a couple a guys sitting around talking about being a man and dealing with guy stuff. It wasn't until we gained more members, did we really embrace the name "Man Lunch."
Man Lunch began to grow, soon we had 6 people, then 8, then 10. Our record attendance for Man Lunch is 21 men...now that's a lot of testosterone let me tell ya.

Last year is when Man Lunch took a very serious turn. We actually tried to become a club on Geneva's Campus but we were shot down. Probably for the obvious reasons, like we were sexist (which we really aren't. Women are very important, but sometimes we just need a time for men to be men and have Man Lunch.). But of course there are clubs that are for minorities, certain majors, and other stuff, but we can't have a club called "Man Lunch." You can't say we weren't prepared either. We had officers listed and names signed, we had an advisor, and we had a huge constitution written by our president himself, Mr. Nate MANsor. Still, in the end. We didn't receive club status, but I guess it's better that way. Now we don't have any rules to follow except our own. Ha.

Man Lunch also received a Facebook fan page last year and it is still active with members and posts and what not. (You should check it out, MAN LUNCH!!! on fb).

Man Lunch has also picked up an official anthem. The Doxology (led by Ian Taylor), sung at an extremely low key, as we are all men, and after it we end our lunch with a chant of "MAN LUNCH!"

Contrary to some people's beliefs, Man Lunch is a serious group composed of serious people. We have serious talks and we actually care about what goes on this campus. We are also strong Christians. We often talk about God and Christianity during Man Lunch, and we are trying to get in the habit of praying together before we have lunch. All in all, Man Lunch is dedicated to all those who are men, who want to spend time with their fellow men, and have a great time doing it.

So that's it. A little history of Man Lunch. If you have any questions, visit us in the Brig on Thursdays at 12:30 or just message me, write on this blog, or write on the Man Lunch FB wall.
Thanks for reading!

Also, I have one last thing to say....."NOW THERE'S A MAN!" (the official Man Lunch slogan.)

More videos? And a Request from Me...

Like I said before, I have a YouTube Channel (TGameNTech) where I review tech/games/anything interesting. haha. You can check it out here
TGameNTech

If you have seen those videos, would you be interested in me making more videos of the same kind? Maybe even more videos of a different style?

I just got out of Video Practicum and I got some really encouraging comments from the instructor on how good my videos are and I was kind of surprised. I mean I know they aren't bad, but I didn't think they were anything great, but hey, maybe they are decent. I dunno.

I am really getting in to this video thing and if I can continue to make a profit from Google through it I would definitely be willing to pour more time and energy in to it.

What you guys can do to help me is to share my blog posts with other people. Share my YouTube channel with other people, and just in general respond to my posts and videos. Even just one comment makes a video worth it and gives the creator that much more incentive to keep going. Thanks for reading everyone. Let me know what you think below, and please sign your name so I know who you are! (or else it says the comment is from anonymous. haha)

Thanks again!
Tyler

YouTube Channel, whaaaat?

Hey all,
As some of you may, or may not know, I have a channel on YouTube called TGameNTech. I talk and review tech/games. Go figure. haha.
I am just writing this blog to let you all know that I am doing a give away soon for all of you out there with iOS devices. It's nothing huge, but it's just something to say thanks to the people who have subscribed and watched my videos. (I have 30 subscribers and over 23,000 total video views).
I will be posting the video on my channel sometime soon (maybe tonight?) And it will run until I get 50 subscribers.
The rules to be eligible for the giveaway will be included in the video.
I am making money off of doing this. I made an account with Google Adsense so I do get some revenue per view and ad click and I hope to generate more traffic on my channel with these giveaways. Hopefully if I can get a good user base going, the giveaways can get bigger and better. ;)

I am doing this channel mainly because I like technology and games and I like to talk about them. And going by views, some one out there likes to listen to me. I am also doing this to just get a better handle on recording and editing video (since it's part of my integrated media major).

I figured now is a good a time as ever to get my channel out there, so go watch and be merry! (And stay tuned for the app giveaway)

Here's my channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/TGameNTech

Comments/Suggestions are definitely accepted. Don't be a jerk though, because that's just low.
Subscribing would be nice. ;)

Tyler Miller: Squirrel Master

Don't doubt it for a minute. The squirrels will obey me, after I have gained their trust.
Let's just say I offered a squirrel an offer he couldn't refuse....
A Granola Bar

Yes, that's right. I have a squirrel pieces of a granola bar. And he loved every minute of it. I baited him over, dropped the piece of granola in front of him and he snatched it up like...like...squirrels snatch things up.
As soon as he grabbed it, he sat down on his rear end, curled his tail, and went to work. I think he enjoyed it a little too much...but that's okay. Even squirrels should get a little special treatment every once and awhile. (Except the one that caused the campus to go into a 3 hour long power outage, but that squirrel paid his price..)

So I am glad I could make a difference today in a squirrel's life. I hope he runs back to his tree, tells his squirrel friends about me, and one day I will walk to class...surrounded by my squirrel army. But be warned though, the squirrels are feisty creatures and it takes time to earn their trust. Lookie here.

Watch yourself. Stay tuned for more squirrel updates.

It's Madness I say, Madness!

YES!  (Picture of us at the bottom)
We finally won. After years of not being recognized, we won. Now if you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a quick summary.
At Geneva College, we have this thing called Midnight Madness. It is basically a pep rally for winter sports and there's a kick. The whole student body dresses up in their favorite costumes and there are chances to win prizes.

My sophomore year, a group of people and myself dressed up as Super Mario World. Listen close, not just Mario and Luigi, but Super Mario World. The costumes included:
Mario, Luigi, a warp pipe WITH A PIRANHA PLANT, an item box, a star, a mushroom, and we even had gold coins!
That year we didn't even get called down to the floor to be voted on. Other wonderful things, like "Trash" made it down. Give me a break. That evening we left with a very sour attitude. We were determined to make things change.
Last year, a few people dressed up as some people from Dodgeball. I wasn't involved this time around, but at least they won a drawing. Free movie tickets and some cash toward Chi-Burger Chi-Burger.

Now, This year. We won it. We dressed up as the X-MEN. Our costumes included:
Professor X (in a wheel chair), Magneto, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Emma Frost, Rogue, and Mystique. Talk about a freakin awesome group of costumes.
We got called down to the floor, thank goodness, and we ended up face to face with a group of people dressed up as Toy Story. Now their costumes were okay, but ours were so synched, and a ton of stuff was hand made. It looked to me like Toy Story bought most of their stuff, but I dunno. I'm not gonna judge/say for sure.

Anyways, the crowds were roaring, and we pulled out a victory. FINALLY. I felt like things were made right from the wrong we were given when we were Super Mario World...haha. It made sound cheezy but it felt good.

A lot of work went in to our costumes. People shaved, dyed their hair for real, made stuff that took two hours, and sprayed their whole bodies with paint. Talk about dedication. I'm glad that in the end, the X-MEN stood victorious.

Schoolwork...it can wait until after you read this.

You know what I'm talking about.

As soon as you finish one thing, something else pops up to say "Hey! Don't forget about me! I'm the 10 page paper you said you would do right after you finished that project that you just happened to finish right!"

Ugh, and most of the time it's about as complicated to do as it is to read the previous sentence. But, do not be dismayed! There is hope! And it's name is Thanksgiving Break! But it's too early to talk about that goodness.

Back to reality. Schoolwork.
Are you going crazy? Do you think you have too much work to do and that you are the most busy person in the world? Think again.
Always remember, someone is always busier than you. Someone else always has more work than you. Someone else is always worse off than you. Don't try to get the world to throw you a pity party because you have a 2 page paper due in a week.

Now there are circumstances where it does get crazy, and you think you will crack. You have two projects, 3 papers, a speech, and an exam all in one week. We have all been there, and it isn't a pretty scene, but you have to remember to keep your cool.
This may come as a newsflash to some people...but, your identity is NOT found in your schoolwork and how well you perform. Just because you get a barely passing grade on an exam does not mean you are a barely passing student. We all need to get our priorities straight and realize that this is just school. Yes, it is a very expensive type of school for my fellow college students, but it is still just school. It's not life or death, and if you think it is, you need to sit down and work it out with yourself. Your identity is not in anything you can do, but as a Christian, your identity is found in Christ. Not some speech you are about to wing.

That's just a little rant about schoolwork. I hope someone out there, somewhere enjoys this and maybe finds peace after reading it. Just remember, it really is just a paper, and there is no need to stress out over a chopped up tree with ink blotched all over it.

Yours in scholarly work (and internet distractions),
                                        Tyler

Almost Fall Break...

THANK GOODNESS

I could use a nice little break from all the madness that is Geneva College.
Now let's not get confused. I love Geneva, but every now and again I need to get away from all of the work. Funny thing is though, I will probably be doing work all of Fall Break...oh well. That's the way it goes these days. haha.

So what are you all planning to do on your fabulous Fall Break? (if you have one that is)

Even though I am going to be doing work..I plan to relax. I just realized today that I am busy basically every night of the week.
Monday: Radio Show
Tuesday: Bible Study
Wednesday: Open Hours
Thursday: UpperRoom:
Friday: Open Hours
Saturday: Football game/Open hours
Sunday: NFL football and homework cramming

Now of course I do have free hours in there and open hours aren't really busy hours, but who really is gonna sit there and write a research paper while their significant other is in the room. Who knows, maybe someone.

Well I think I'm going to sit around and do nothing. I plan to edit the radio show and upload that for some people to listen to at some time...but ehh. We will see what happens. haha.

This is my blog...again.

I really need to do this more often. I feel like I have all these interesting thoughts people would like to read, but I just don't seem to be able to remember to blog very often. Oh well, maybe I will remember more in the future. haha.

Watch this for now to keep you entertained.

LOVE YOU ALL! (and cats too)

Ranting/Awakening/Humility

I feel like it's good for a person, to just rant sometimes. Not exactly ranting in the sense that I say all kinds of things that are untrue, but just getting some actual TRUTHS out there and off your chest. Hmmmm. Definitely something to think about. Currently watching Lou Engle tear it up at Awakening 2011 in Chicago.

awakening2011.com

Watch it nowww!

What's been on my mind lately? Humility. No one is humble anymore and I fear as though we are all going to be broken soon....We have tried to do it by ourselves for so long, but we are going to soon realize we will never be able to do anything without God. Brokenness is coming to bring us to our knees. Humility is like a tidal wave, coming fast. Get yourselves ready for the impact.

It's not Friday....but I don't care.

Oh you know where this is going. If you don't, watch this.

Now that you wish you could get the last five minutes of your life back, let's talk.
Actually, I don't think we have to do much talking about this. But we can talk anyways.
This video is just plain bad. I don't really know how else to say it.

Poor Rebecca Black, her parents just wanted her to be famous, but now she is famous for being absolutely TERRIBLE. Her voice sounds so whiny and half the time her face looks like she is in labor pains. And I didn't even get to the lyrics yet.

What am I? 5? I think people who are watching this video know what the days of the week are, and if they don't, start attending school. Really? A song about Friday? But then it's not just Friday. She ever so kindly tells us that Thursday is the day before and then Saturday and Sunday come afterwards. I can now be at ease knowing the order of half of the days of the week.....right.

Beyond the terrible lyrics and the bad singing by Black, let's get to this rapper who just comes up out of no where. Where does this guy think he is going? Is he hoping to get famous by this? Well he did, and now no one would ever take him worth a grain of salt because he has shamed his non existent career on this song.

This kind of reminds of Justin Bieber, except at least the Bieb has some TALENT! I will admit I am not his biggest fan, but at least he can sing better than this chick.

Friday is not Rebecca's only glorious performance on YouTube. Just search around and you will see many more outrageously bad videos. Well I can't talk about this anymore or else I'm going to lose it.

Rebecca, nothing personal, but PLEASE do not sing anything else. Save yourself the embarrassment because no amount of auto tune can save you now.

Sincerely,
Me.

Spring Break

Okay so I have realized that I haven't been posting on this very much, but the last couple of weeks have been kinda busy, but alas, Spring Break is here! Wonderful, and I'm in good ol Bedford County and as I look out the window all I see is clouds and trees that are getting whipped by the cold wind. I thought Spring Break was supposed to be...I don't know...spring-like? Oh well, at least it is a break from school.

Now, I have a problem. I have been captivated by the iPad 2 and I think I want one. I know I will get hate for wanting an iPad and people will just say "It's just a big iPod touch, wahh wahh." Well, you like to buy your things, I like to buy mine. I know people who spend thousands of dollars for speaker systems in their cars and they only get to use them when they are in the car. I think that is dumb, but you don't see me harassing people about it (until just now). I don't know, I would just like to have an iPad. Problem is, I don't have the money. Well, I have the money, but I'm not about to blow $500 bucks for a huge touch screen device. I need to be raising this money. I've decided if I want it, I'm gonna have to start selling some stuff. For example, old iPod Touch, old Nintendo DS lite, and other random games and stuff. Basically, I will be trading a bunch of my old stuff for a new thing. Makes more sense than just going out and buying it on a whim and adding it to a pile of things. Another problem, I don't like selling my old stuff. ha. Guess I will have to get over that if I want to get an iPad. Hmm. Dunno yet.

I'm bored and it's Saturday. Awesome.

YouTube

Hey Everyone,
I want to make videos to put on YouTube but really don't know where to start content wise...any ideas?

This was a lame post.

Super Bowl 45

Well, the Steelers couldn't pull it off, but the Packers did. The Packers deserve that win because the Steelers did not play like they should have. Three turnovers on your offense and none on the other team is a recipe for disaster in the Super Bowl and the right team came out winning. I'm actually kind of glad that the Steelers didn't win. Now I'm sure you are wondering, "WHAT? I thought you were a diehard Steelers fan!" Well yes, I am, but I also know when we don't deserve a win. Also, if we would have pulled off an amazing last minute drive like the last Super Bowl we won, everyone would have been crying "Steelers are the luckiest team in the NFL boohoooooo." And that may seem exaggerated but that is exactly what all those Steeler haters would be crying. But they all got their wish and the Steelers didn't win the Super Bowl. They all made out pretty good and got a little cheese with their whine.

Personally, I'm not that bothered by the fact that the Steelers lost. What makes me mad are the people who have no respect for the city, the team, or the organization and what they do. They trash the Steelers nonstop and always have something negative to say about them. Guess that's what happens when your team doesn't perform up to par, you have to go on and complain about how good other teams are. Then when you challenge that person and ask them how their team did they always say "Next season bro, next season." Wow, not like I heard that before. haha.
 It's all pretty entertaining really.

Anyways, we get to move on to other sports. Now the Penguins will get my full attention for awhile and then comes the...MIGHTY PIRATES! Here's to a season over .500!

WinterJam 2011

One Word. Phenomenal.
So many artists for such a little price, you can't beat it! I paid ten bucks to see the Newsboys, David Crowder Band, Kutless, Red, Chris August, and many more artists. If any of you out there have a chance to go to a WinterJam concert, GO!!!! It will be the best ten bucks you ever spend in your life, and that is a promise.
Now the fun part is figuring out what time you should arrive at the concert. My group that I went with showed up at 11 AM for a concert where the doors open at 4:30....crazy? Yes. Worth it? Most definitely. Seats right beside the cat walk made that wait worth it. I could just go on for hours about how awesome this concert was, but that would just get boring for some of you. Let's just say that I would go to all the remaining concerts if I could and I would pay ten bucks each time. Yeah it was that amazing.

Summary: If you have ten bucks and want an awesome night of awesome music and performances, go to WinterJam. Even if you aren't a Christian, it is worth ten bucks to rock out all night long from like 5 to 11. But if you are a Christian, well it just makes the concert that much better. Also, I have come to the conclusion that praise and worship being led by David Crowder has to somehow resemble in just a small tiny bit what praise and worship in Heaven will be like. Awesome.

Now go out and find a WinterJam near you!

PS: Michael Tait is so amazing and entertaining that words cannot do justice.

Radio Show

Hello All
Recently, I have started my radio practicum here at good ol Geneva College. At first I was a little apprehensive about the whole thing, but after a night of being a DJ, I realized I actually really enjoyed. Who would have known that I would enjoy spending my Monday and Tuesday evenings sitting in a (sometimes hot) radio studio. Anyways, I would appreciate it if you all tuned in on Mondays from 7:00-8:30 PM and Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM and listen to me talk to you about nice things and here some sweet music. I promise it will be worth your time. ;)

And yes mother, I will stop mentioning the weather every five minutes on the air....

Super Bowl Bound Baby!

So how bout them Steelers? Well of course they pretty much dominated the Jets. But how bout them Steelers haters? Well of course they pretty much were haters like always. Steelers haters are just that, haters. I could rant on and on about this, but then I would get comments like "Refs play for the Steelers, You can't beat a team supported by God, or the Steelers are so lucky." Give me a break. I still think the Steelers are targeted more than most teams in the NFL and that our QB takes the most hits, without penalties. Put ol Lady Brady in Ben's situation and you would see flag left and right because someone touched Brady's arm. It's just rather pathetic if you ask me. Then we move on to the haters who say Ben is a rapist. Well I'm sorry that news is old, and it was an accusation, not evidence. I'm not going to sit here and say he didn't, but who are you to judge another person's actions when you yourself have committed wrongful actions in the past. This is the part where I go Christian on you. As Christians we are supposed to see the good in people, but I see many people who call themselves Christians smack talk Ben every chance he gets. He makes a few mistakes and now he is the worst person on  the face of the planet. But it's okay if someone like Brett Favre sends sexual messages to staff of the Jets, I'm sure he didn't mean any harm. Give me a break, Steelers haters are a bunch of hypocrites. They would defend their own player even if they killed a man coughstallworthcough. I'm just sick of everyone acting like babies when the Steelers win. Suck it up and realize that just because your team didn't make the playoffs, doesn't mean you have a free ride to act like jerks towards the Steeler Fan Base. I'm done. I'm sure people will still argue this, because they have nothing better to do with their time. Have fun.

Oh yeah, Steelers are going to the Super Bowl if you didn't already know, haters. But I'm sure they do know, because Steelers haters are more dedicated to following the Steelers than most ordinary people. Kinda funny if you think about it. The Steelers haters are becoming their own separate fanbase for the Steelers! How cute.

Computer Virus....

One of the worst things that could happen to a man's computer, rendering it totally useless. I spent the whole night last night trying to remedy my poor Dell and finally, at around 1:30 am I finally got it fixed. Phew, just thought I would share about the crazy experience. It was very stressful, because like I have said, a college kid without a working computer is like a car without tires. Not productive. I have to thank God that I didn't lose my mind (or my data on my harddrive) and that somehow He guided to me the right website and program to help fix this thing. Crazy how God even cares about the little things in our lives. On a sadder note, it shows how much we depend on technology in today's society.../fail. Oh yeah, one last thing I have to say....GO STEELERS!!!!

First Day of Class

Well this semester is off to a decent start. First day of classes went well enough, but the best part is we get to do it all over again for tomorrow! Yeah, tomorrow is the first day of classes for the T, TH classes so basically it is the second first day of classes. Go figure. Anyways, yay college. Hopefully 20 credits this semester doesn't do me in too bad, but I'm sure I will manage somehow. Sooooo that's about it for right now. Not too interesting but oh well. Not my problem if you think you wasted time reading this. haha. I promise to have something more interesting to write about later.

Roughing the Kicker....WHAT?

COME ON MAN!!!!
This is the NFL, how about you play like it is. If a player just knocks down a kicker with hardly any force...WHO CARES? One of the worst penalty situations ever. The only time this should ever be called is if the kicker is literally drilled by the defense man, otherwise, this flag should never be thrown. Take the skirts off the kickers and let them get roughed up a little bit like the rest of the team. My gosh, the QBs take more hits than the kickers and the NFL says they are all gung ho about protecting the QB. Give me a break people.

Buying College Books

Two words. Rip. Off.
In total, my charge from my college's bookstore would be $506.75. I searched on amazon and half.com and got them all for $227.50. Even though I still think this is a crazy price, the price of the bookstore is still unbelievable! I saved almost $280 bucks by searching through the net and not going through my bookstore. If you ask me, something is wrong with this picture. We are already paying how many thousands a year to go to school and on top of that they want to charge us half a grand for books...geeeeeez. Rant over.

New Blog...

Hey everyone,
Just decided to sign up for this Blogger thing, maybe I can actually use it and make it entertaining some how. Ha. Well this is just my first post. I feel like it will be a lot like Xanga...which died a slow death to Myspace, which is being taken over by Facebook and Twitter...but I digress. Should I keep this up and entertain you with my thoughts? Yes or no please.
The fate of this blog lies in your hands! Well not really, but I will let you think it does.
